Can you mount the TV as well as assemble the console?
Yes. TV bracket mounting is an add-on service. We install VESA-compatible tilt and swivel brackets on HDB concrete walls using M8 anchors. We also do cable management — routing the HDMI and power cables through the wall or along a cable trunking channel. The bracket load is tested before we hand over.
My BESTA TV unit has a mix of doors, drawers, and open shelves. Is that more complex?
Yes, but it is our bread and butter. IKEA BESTA requires precise frame squaring and wall mounting before any inserts go in. We configure BESTA units to your IKEA planner PDF and install all push-open or handle hardware as specified.
Can you mount a TV console on a feature wall or partition wall?
Wall-mounted consoles (floating units) require anchoring into the structural wall behind any cladding or panel finish. We use a stud finder and test-drill to confirm the wall structure before committing. For partition walls we use appropriate cavity toggles — rated weight capacity confirmed before mounting.
I live in a resale HDB with a concrete feature wall. Is drilling difficult?
No. Our technicians carry SDS hammer drills with carbide bits for concrete. Older HDB concrete (pre-1990s) is harder than new BTO concrete but does not require special equipment — just the right drill bit and patience. We patch any pilot holes that miss their mark.
