Do you assemble IKEA PAX wardrobes?
Yes. PAX is our highest-volume job. The system requires precise sequence discipline: carcasses must be assembled and squared individually before joining, and the entire unit must be plumbed vertically before sliding door tracks are installed — any deviation makes the doors bind. We also install KOMPLEMENT interior fittings, pull-out trays, and PAX lighting. Bring your IKEA planner PDF and we will configure it exactly.
My BTO flat has a false ceiling. Can you still wall-anchor my wardrobe?
Yes. False ceilings are common in BTO and condo renovations. We anchor to the concrete wall behind the wardrobe, not the ceiling — so the false ceiling does not affect anti-tip anchoring at all. We use M8 Fischer plugs rated for concrete and verify pull-out strength with a torque check.
How long does a 3-door PAX sliding wardrobe take to assemble?
A 3-door PAX with standard KOMPLEMENT interior (one rail, two shelves per section) takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours for one technician. A full wall of PAX (five sections, integrated lighting, full KOMPLEMENT with drawers) can take a full day. We always give you a time estimate when you send us the item details.
I bought a wardrobe from Taobao. Will the dimensions fit my HDB?
Taobao wardrobes are often sized for Chinese apartments (2.4 m to 2.7 m ceiling height). Standard Singapore BTO ceiling is 2.6 m; older resale HDB can be as low as 2.4 m. Before your wardrobe ships, confirm the product's installed height (not the panel height — factor in feet adjustment range). If it has arrived and does not fit, contact us — we can sometimes modify the plinth height or foot depth.
Can you fix a wardrobe my previous handyman assembled badly?
Yes. The most common issues we rectify are: doors installed without squaring the carcass (causes permanent bind), wall anchor bolts into plaster instead of concrete (dangerous), and drawers installed on the wrong runner height. Send us a video of the problem and we will quote a rectification fee.
