Glass tops are handled with cotton gloves. We also apply felt pads to all legs before placement to protect your flooring — HDB vinyl and parquet scratch easily.
My extendable dining table from Taobao has a butterfly leaf mechanism. Can you assemble it?
Yes. Butterfly and self-storing leaf mechanisms are fiddly but we have assembled dozens of them. The common failure point is the guide rails not seating flat — if they are even 1 mm proud, the leaf will not lie flush. We adjust until it does.
How much space is needed in the room for assembly?
We need enough floor space to lay the tabletop face-down safely — typically 1.5x the footprint of the assembled table. For a 1.6 m dining table, that means roughly 2.5 m of clear floor. If your condo or HDB dining area is tight, let us know and we can discuss working in stages.
Can you fix a table I already (badly) assembled?
Yes. Reassembly and rectification is a common job for us. The most frequent issue is legs installed in the wrong sequence causing the apron to rack — this means the table rocks even with all bolts tight. We dismantle, reset, and reassemble correctly.
