Do you assemble Omnidesk and EverDesk standing desks?
Yes. Omnidesk Pro 2 and EverDesk+ are our most common study and home office standing desk assemblies. The critical steps: the frame must be squared before the worktop is attached (a racked frame makes the desk travel diagonally and stresses the motor guides), all motor cables must be routed without pinch points, and the anti-collision height must be set correctly for your worktop thickness. We program all four memory presets to standard ergonomic heights and test full travel before leaving.
Can you assemble an L-shaped desk from Taobao?
Yes. L-shaped and corner desks have a corner join bracket that is often the weakest point in the assembly — it must be aligned correctly or the two desk sections flex relative to each other. We also route cable management through the corner before the worktop panels are joined, because retrofitting cable routing on an assembled L-desk means disassembling the corner.
How long does study desk assembly take?
A standard flat-pack study desk with drawer unit (IKEA MICKE, ALEX, or equivalent Lazada model) takes 1 to 1.5 hours. A standing desk (motorised frame plus worktop) takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours including calibration. An L-shaped standing desk takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
My child has a study table with a hutch shelf on top. Is that different?
A hutch shelf requires the desk carcass to be assembled and fully tightened before the hutch is attached — because the hutch load must be distributed through the desk structure. We also anchor the hutch to the wall behind it if it exceeds 1.2 m total height, which most do.
