Common mirrors Assembly & Repair Problems We Solve in Singapore

Mirror falling off wall after months

Adhesive bond degraded in Singapore's humidity — heavy mirrors need mechanical anchoring, not adhesive alone.

Mirror anchor pulling out of plasterboard

Standard drywall anchor rated 5 kg holds a 15 kg mirror for a month, then fails. Toggle bolt or stud anchor required.

Tile cracked during DIY drilling

High-speed masonry bit generates heat that fractures tile glaze — diamond bit at low speed is the only correct method.

Mirror not level

D-ring fittings on mirror back at unequal heights — the wire or chain needs to be shortened on one side.

Gallery wall holes visible around frames

Holes were made without a layout plan — frames placed, moved, and replanned, leaving ghost holes in the wall.

We don't just identify the problem — we fix it fast. Whether it's a wobbly frame, missing parts, or instructions in Chinese, our certified assemblers ensure your mirrors is set up securely and correctly. Work with a certified assembly professional for mirrors in Singapore and get a properly assembled, safety-checked result — covering all areas islandwide including Punggol, Tampines, Woodlands, Jurong, Bedok, and all central districts.

Why Mirrors Requires a Professional

Secure mounting of heavy mirrors, paintings, and art pieces on concrete or partition walls.

A heavy mirror falling off a wall in Singapore is not a rare event — it is the predictable outcome of adhesive mounting in a high-humidity environment, or of an anchor sized for a 5 kg picture carrying a 25 kg mirror. The load mathematics are simple and we do them before every job. A correctly anchored mirror using rated mechanical fixings will outlast the wall finish it is mounted on.

How It Works

Load assessed, anchor rated, mirror level and secure — here is our mirror mounting process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our service.

How heavy a mirror can you safely mount?

With correct concrete anchoring using M8 Fischer plugs in HDB concrete, we can safely mount mirrors up to 50 kg in total weight. For mirrors between 20–50 kg, we use two anchor points minimum with D-ring fittings rated to the load. For mirrors over 15 kg on plasterboard partition walls, we locate the metal stud behind the board and anchor into that. We never rely on adhesive mirror strips alone for anything over 5 kg.

Can you mount a mirror on bathroom or kitchen tiles?

Yes. We use diamond-tipped drill bits at low speed with water cooling to prevent cracking the glaze. This method works on most modern porcelain and ceramic tiles. For very thin tiles (under 6 mm), older vintage tiles, or large-format thin tiles (common in recent renovations), there is a higher crack risk — we will advise you of this before drilling and discuss adhesive-mount alternatives if appropriate.

I want to hang multiple framed artworks in a gallery wall arrangement. Can you help?

Yes. Gallery wall arrangement is a planning-first job. We confirm your intended layout with masking tape on the wall before drilling a single hole. For a rental property where you want minimal holes, we install a picture rail system — one row of anchors in the ceiling rail can hang unlimited art without additional wall holes.

What is the difference between mirror clips and mirror adhesive?

Mirror clips are mechanical fixings that grip the mirror edges — they are permanent and fully load-rated. Mirror adhesive (construction adhesive or mirror-safe adhesive) bonds the mirror back to the wall — it is strong but degrades in Singapore's humidity over 3–5 years and can fail without warning. For anything heavier than 5 kg, we use mechanical fixings. For lightweight decorative mirrors (under 3 kg), adhesive is acceptable with a top safety clip as backup.
